KITAP Bali is written and maintained by a desk. We publish under KITAP Bali Editorial Desk because the reading, the drafting and the later corrections are shared work, and putting a single face on shared work would describe it wrongly.

Where this site concentrates

Our subjects are visa and permit paperwork, booking, deposits and cancellation, property questions and what things actually cost. The list is deliberately narrow, because a page nobody on the desk revisits is a page that quietly goes out of date.

Checked, and not yet checked

Rules, fares and schedules in Indonesia change with little warning. Where a figure has been checked against an official source, we say so and name the source. Where it has not been checked, the page says that instead of closing the gap with an estimate that would read like a fact.

Nothing on this site should be read as professional, legal or medical advice, and no one behind it is held out as qualified to give it. We describe what is publicly documented and say where it came from; the rest belongs with the relevant office.
